Riva Apartments

This accommodation is fantastic! Located in the Palace the room looks over the bell tower and is right in the hub of the ancient city. The bed and linen is superb and the room is quiet and great for sleeping. Our host George was so helpful and considerate in every way. He helped us to the room, even carrying our bags as my husband was unwell. He gave us great tips for local restaurants which we loved. The room is on the third floor, so there are stairs. We highly recommend Riva Appartments and would definitely stay again.

The location was absolutely perfect, with an amazing view of the bell tower and everything we wanted and needed right at our doorstep, furniture and layout was great and the bed was very comfy!

The hot water tended to only last for about 10 minutes and afterwards one of us would have to wait another 10-20 for it to come back on after showering, it wasn’t the end of the world just a minor inconvenience

Has everything you need for a short stay. The balcony overlooking the promenade was a great sunny spot to sit and people watch.

George was amazing, from helping us with the luggage, providing very good tourist information all the way through to answering the phone at any time to provide assisstance. He went the extra mile to be kind enough to stock some wine and soft drinks as we had arrived quite late, after the local supermarkets were closed. The apartments were spotless, well looked after and had all the kicthenware needed for self-catering. As a family of four, we could not fault the accommodation in any way nor the fantastic hospitaility from the host. Very close to bars, restaurants, bars, shops, marina, public transport, diverse market etc. Sandy beach, Bacvice is a picturesque 15 minutes walk. Would highly recommend this apartment that had an awesome sea view.

As this is the historic Old Town part of the city, be prepared for lots of stairs, tourists walking around slightly lost and using your mobile to guide you back to the apartment. For us, this formed part of the experience and the kids loved this mini-adventure!! It would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues but.

The view and location of the apartment are incredible. The apartment is situated within the grounds of the Diocletian palace only one minute away from Jupiter square, the vestibulum and cathedral of St Dominus bell tower as well as two minutes away from the viva promenade thus within walking distance to all the sea front restaurants and cafes as well as the old city streets. The host George was very friendly and met us on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He would respond to your messages promptly and give travel advice and information. Tha apartment itself is very clean, modern and well renovated. Loved the bathroom mirror touch lights and the ends were very comfortable with white linen sheets. If I were to return I certainly would stay at this apartment and would highly recommend it.

I liked everything about the apartment. One thing I would like to see at the apartment is a microwave but I’m sure other guests wouldn’t be too concerned about this.

Great apartment in a brilliant location. Amazing sea views. Plenty of room for a family of 4. George was the perfect host and couldn’t help us enough.
