Old Captain's Apartments - in a pine wood by the sea and tennis courts

The host was very friendly and helpful, he and his wife are great hosts! The apartment is on top of an old (1930ies) building, with the entire flat roof as a terrasse. Great! It is often windy, and we did not experience rain or bad weather, so it was absolutely gorgeous. 5min walk through the tennis courts to the sandy beach in a very nice bay. The address is the gate of the Split Tennis Courts, so call the host ahead of time. He needs to open the door for you. After that, you are free to park, leave, and re-enter freely.

Cozy apartment on a large private rooftop terrace with an amazing view to the ocean and the mountains. Great location with many beaches, restaurants, cafeés and supermarkets in the area. 20min walk to the port and the city. Wonderful place to watch the sun rise and set. The host family was really friendly, Sasa and his family were so kind, polite and always making sure that we had everything we needed. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Captain’s house. Jelena and Sasha are fabulous hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The location of the flat is ideal. The beach is right next to it,lots of nice restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket just across the street. The ancient town centre of split is a short walk away. The flat is in a beautiful Art Deco house that used to be the home of the Captain. We loved it and can not wait to come back. Thank you for everything Jelena and Sasha!

The location was ideal. Walking distance from Spilt centre but far enough to have some peace. There are beautiful beaches right in front of the flat and amenities just minutes away like supermarkets and restaurants. Jelena and Sasa are incredibly friendly hosts too. Very attentive and kind- I’ll definitely come back!
