Apartments Villa Mattossi

Nice and warm welcoming from Ivan and his mum. He did explain where we can go and what we should see. Villa is situated close to the centre of Rovinj, 700 m to the beach, aproximately 200 m to the closer shop. With a parking its little bit tricky. So you need to find a parking place but it was not a problem. Recommend it for family with children, active people, young couple who like to explore the city. You can also rent a bike for reasonable price. It is so much to do ;) Rovinj has everything to offer and it us very nice from historical point of view.

The host was friendly. Parking our car on the street in front was helpful. A quiet area.

The door of the flat is made of glass. So the interior lights of the apartment is getting in whenever other guests are entering the apartment in the middle of the night, and you hear their voices. You have to pay by cash using an envelope underneath a door, it's ok but a little bit weird.

Great starting point to discover the city of Rovinj. Through our whole stay we did not need car at all. Friendly host. Spacious and comfortable apartment. Kitchen equipped well with everything you need to prepare meals. There are alsio plenty of tasty street-food options to try. All in all, if we return to Rovinj we will for sure come back to this apartment.
