Electric kettle wasn't working upon arrival, but this was solved super fast with a new kettle which was brought to the apartment the same evening. Tap water in the kitchen wasn't always hot (like it was in the bathroom).

The good: The location. Very close to the tram stops for both the 2B and the 2 Trams with easy connections to most parts of the city. The shutters - almost total blackout in the rooms which made for a very pleasant nights sleep. Nice modern building with a balcony on the 10th floor. Lift from ground floor right up to apartment and located near to the lift exit. Apartment is clean and there are all the amenities you need for a short stay. The availability of a washing machine is a bonus. Cooking equipment available. A previous review said there were was no pan, but the host has provided one now, so if you want to cook meals, you can do. The Spar supermarket in the same building is useful for basics, and it had a good stock of things. Great for getting fresh bread. The Lurdy Haz shopping mall is closeby (10 mins walk) for more advanced shopping.

How could it have been better?: Other reviews have commented on the directions to find the entrance lacking detail. Fortunately, having read these reviews I had picked up some additional information which made findings it easier, but the information provided along would have made it difficult, especially if arriving at night. The Allure Residence buildings which the apartment is located in, are actually 3 buildings. The apartment is located in the building which is closest to the MUPA end of Vágóhíd u. 3. The entrance can be seen on the photos published by the apartment. If you are standing looking at the Spar / Lotto shops the entrance is located to your right. As for the key safe, there are key safes on the left and right hand side of the gate. The key safe for the building is on the right hand side, and has a Budapest Apartments sticker on it. To get through the gate you need to use the fob provided to open the gate. Then keep walking and on the left is an entrance with another fob access which opens the door to the elevators. See photos. Hopefully this will help others find the apartment. The other thing in other reviews is the mention that the lock does not function properly. This was also my experience. It was not possible to properly lock the apartment. In my view this is basic maintenance which needs completing, or the lock needs changing, which is an inexpensive job, but which would provide more reassurance for visitors on the security of the apartment. While I was staying in the apartment, despite it being October it was very warm. Having paid more for an apartment with Air conditioning, I thought I would just be able to turn that on for a few minutes to cool things down. Sadly the air conditioning did not work. Contacting the helpdesk they were unable to help me get it sorted. They told me to open the windows, which was fine when I was in the apartment, but not very practical or secure when I was out.

Instructions for location are not very good. You can find building but you need time to find an entrance. Also, lockers. You have a 6 lockers on the grid. Instructions for the left one are confused. But ok.

New building, location, comunication with staff.

Too expensive for what you get, usualy at this price point you get at least free parking, coffe, tea or something. Apartment had a bad smell, we found out that cleaning supplies were in closet and that was source. Also it is a little bit complicated to find garage, entrance to building and keys of apartment, some signs or pictures in instructions could be helpfull.
