The Mondain Apartments Budapest

A nice and cosy flat for 2 people with a baby. Easy to babyproof and let youngling roam around.

The location. The price was amazing. A great deal.

A hairdryer would be nice. I book apartments quite frequently and have never had one without a hair dryer. Also the tv appeared to be for decoration only which seemed odd

Everything was fine

The location of the apartment is excellent. Everything is very close. The apartment is in a busy street, but it is very quiet inside the building, because it is inside the courtyard. The parking lot is in front of the building, but it is always occupied and there is a parking limit. It is better to leave it in a nearby garage. All in all a pretty good place.

The beds should be better, also the bedding. The sewage in the toilet is noisy, but apparently there is no other option. I don't watch TV, but it could be bigger and better.

The door of the shower doesnt close. There is only 1 fork at the apartment

Central and easy to reach. The building is historically beautiful.

Beds and towels were clean. However, the flat wasn’t very clean overall. The side bed table above the kitchen was sticky, the kettle had stains of food on it, there were noises of loud ventilators coming from outside (not sure what it was), the toilet had a smell of sewage and in the morning the water was gurgling very loudly. The lady was nice but even though I had sent her a Whatsapp message as advised by Booking.com I still had to call her to ask how the check in was working once I landed.

The only positive think about this place was location.

Place is cold and full of damp, bathroom was disgusting and we've been afraid to use the shower. Coffee machine and toster was old and dirty. We could not cut the lemon with knife that was in flat and that first place Ive been at without vine opener. AC was fake, didnt work and was full of dust. For asking price this place was awful and I do not recommend this to anyone, Im sorry. We eneded with my partner with allergic reaction to damp in this apartment. There was no cups for tea or coffee - just glasses. One window did not had curtain or blind and was exposed to people walking outside of it looking into the apartment. Tv didnt work and all cables been ripped off

It’s a nice flat in a charming shabby chic belle epoque building. Quiet, comfortable, and very well priced. Close to train and tram network, and the center of the city is walkable as well.

Nothing. It is an enjoyable stay.
