The Mondain Apartments Budapest

When we entered the apartment, it was very cold. The air conditioner doesn't heat properly. The landlady didn't respond to our inquiry about possible solutions. The bathroom is questionable. The water in the toilet doesn't drain. There is not enough cookware. We can hear noise from the neighboring apartment. Very poor experience, December 2024.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent booking in Budapest. Upon our arrival at 03:30 AM, the code provided for the building access was incorrect, and we were unable to enter. Despite multiple attempts to use the code, we were left stranded outside the building in cold weather with our luggage for over an hour. This experience was extremely frustrating and uncomfortable. We had to wait until someone eventually opened the door, which was not only inconvenient but also unsafe, given the time and weather conditions. Considering the inconvenience caused by this issue, I request a full double compensation for this booking. The delay and lack of proper access completely diminished the quality of our stay and is not reflective of the standards I expect when using Booking.com.
