Already been there before... decided to come back! what else to add? :) favourable position, equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, wi.fi, nice host, parking available in the neighbourhoods...

the apartment is close to the street, thus tram-bus can be noisy as they are running at night as well.. nothing to do I guess against structural vibrations.. but acoustic isolation, especially on the window facing the danube could be improved.

Buda Flats are ideally situated right next to the Elizabeth Bridge and around a 15 minute walk to the centre of the city. However, there are buses and trams, that are less than 5 minutes walk, to take you all over the city. Tamas was a great host and gave us very useful tips about getting around on public transport and restaurants etc. The apartment was warm and cosy with a great view across the river. The kitchen was adequately equipped to make a simple meal and very useful to have a fridge and microwave. Thank you - we would come back.

A larger coffee maker would have been useful! But the Cafe next door serves good coffee!

Location, location, location. The property is in a classical older building and the apartment has been refurbished to a high standard with the original high ceiling preserved. The bed was good and the apartment was spacious. We really liked the occasional table and armchairs by the window looking out over the river. This is lovely location since you are right on the river looking across the Danube to the lovely building of the Pest side, watching the river traffic and with immediate views of some of the beautiful bridges. I lived in Budapest myself for two years and this is a really good location for a visitor in my opinion. The apartment is quiet but you have immediate access to the city centre across the nearby bridges. The walk along the Buda bank of the river outside the apartment is pleasant and gives you great photo opportunities. There are a couple of nice pavement cafes close by for breakfast, lunch or just a quiet moment. Finally, the castle hill is right behind you.
