Everything was clean and spaceous. The kitchen was sufficient to prepare a quick meal. The owner was there to greet us upon arrival and gave good recommendations.

We appreciated that our host allowed us an early check in Location is very good as you are at walking distance of most of sightseeing places in Budapest. If you do not like to walk, there is public transport on your door step Good sized main bedroom with view on the river and Pest

Internet was erratic with frequent disruptions Apartment looks a bit tired (marks on wall for example) Not really a big choice of restaurants just around the apartment Noisy place due to tramway going past your window between 5am and 12pm There is a kitchenette but not really enough room to eat : the sort of dining table is squeezed in the corner of main bedroom with no room around it and it is impossible to set up 4 chairs around

The location was perfect. The host couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful.

When booking we thought the apartment had two bedrooms and a seperate sitting area. Unfortunately the sitting area/ tv room and the dining area is in one of the bedrooms.

Everything is nice! Good location that you can open the window and lay down in the bed seeing the river. And the host was nice, you can reach him easily. Just a hint, don’t forget to bring your own stuff (toothbrush and slippers and hairdryer etc). We couldn’t find any during Christmas nearby. But we had a really good time in Budapest!

There is no daily cleaning supplies, it will be a bit inconvenient

I had booked a shuttle through the owner at their recommendation as the best value for coming from the airport and their shuttles. Unfortunately, it was cancelled at the last minute (Christmas time) and I get it; it happens. I was notified immediately. However, when I booked directly through the sight, it was just 18 euros as opposed to the 30 euros I was quoted from the owner. I'm not naive to profit margins in travel, but it seems a bit extreme. I very much appreciated the host being at the site to welcome me when I got there. I thought it was odd to be invited (or welcomed) to check out early at my check-in, due to back-to-back guests, however. When I texted about 2 hours before we checked out to advise we were leaving 30 minutes early, and to get a reminder of where to drop the keys, I didn't hear back from the owner. Congratulations on a busy booking schedule, a caution is raised about becoming so busy that the important touches begin to fall away.
