Little Americas Portland Apartment

The central location of the apartment itself allows you to get by just anywhere by the tram station that's a short walk away! We were here by a car and worried there may not be a parking spot as stated by the apt host, but luckily the public parking is accessible right away. It was very convenient. The neighbours seem nice as well. I assume they have gotten used to seeing tourists :) I like the fact that Little Americas had 2 of their apartments opposite each other (unusual, as mostly apartments are like little individual flats), here once you open the front door you are met with 2 different doors leading to your apartment! it made you feel safe knowing there are other tourists nearby as well! You could find plug ins just on any wall, in the kitchen, bathroom, in the bedroom, which was so nice! but I believe some may be out of use actually. Not all of them worked despite this abundance of them.. Same with TV which was plugged in, but the remote didn't work:( I like all amenities in the kitchen we could use - pans, cutlery, we used them well. The design of the apartment itself is very pretty as well. It's modern with a twist of some vintage spice. Definitely a great feature! If I were to stay in Budapest again, I would have chosen Little Americas as well.

Though there is a downside to location as well - the streets are surrounded by people of different lifestyle conditions. You will find some suspicious liquids and scents on the pavement, seeing people literally urinating.. In this case, at night especially you should be careful. The shower could do some modifications too as instead of 2glass doors for shower, there was only 1 and the other side was a curtain. This made the water leak if you weren't cautious and stood the furthest away from the shower curtain. The toilet was too close to the bathroom door as once you partially open the door, you immediately hit it. Having only 1 bathroom for 8 people is a bit of a hassle as well, but understandable for the place. The apartment was for 8 people, but there are only 4 bar stools in the kitchen, so the rest of us either had to eat while standing or sit on the couch and hold the plate in their hands. The biggest issue was the door handle. It was very flimsy and if you pulled too hard, the handle would fall out from both sides preventing you from entering your apt. I assume it may be the charm of such aged buildings but if there could be a change, I'd recommend investing in a good door handle!

La struttura si trova al terzo piano (senza ascensore) all'interno di un condominio fatiscente. L'appartamento è piccolo e c'è una scaletta (senza protezione) che porta sopra un soppalco alto poco più di 1 metro dove si trova un letto matrimoniale (bisogna inginocchiarsi o abbassarsi parecchio per raggiungere il letto). Nel bagno si trova una caldaia (abbastanza rumorosa) che serve anche l'appartamento di fianco (per cui ogni volta che la persone di fianco aprono l'acqua si accende la caldaia) e ovviamente non c'è nessun tipo di insonorizzazione tra gli appartamenti. Appena arrivati abbiamo trovato l'appartamento sporco (peli e polvere ovunque e la cucina sia pareti che piano schizzati d'olio che sicuramente era lì già da un po' di tempo visto che c'era polvere attaccata sopra). Abbiamo subito contattato l'host chiedendo che fosse fatta una pulizia e inizialmente sembrava che ci fossimo accordati per il giorno successivo ma al nostro rientro, il giorno successivo, avevano rifatto solo i letti e, dopo aver di nuovo scritto all'host mi hanno risposto che non erano passati a pulire perché avevano ricevuto tardi il messaggio tramite Booking (hanno detto che hanno ricevuto tardi il messaggio ma sono passato a rifare i letti???). Ciliegina sulla torta, abbiamo passato la prima notte con continui risvegli a causa dei vicini (una famiglia molto numerosa) che hanno fatto le ore piccole. Il giorno successivo abbiamo lasciato l'appartamento (a metà del soggiorno) chiedendo un rimborso per i giorni non goduti (ovviamente non hanno risposto). Ho chiaramente fatto video e foto di tutto e contatterò Booking e eventualmente associazione dei consumatori per fare valere i miei diritti.

Перш за все - місцерозташування. Пішки, прогулянковим кроком можна дійти до місцевого парку з шикарним дитячим майданчиком за 20 хв. І так само можна дійти до площі Верешмарті. Транспортна розв'язка поруч чудова - метро, трамваї, автобуси, все в 2хв від виходу. Поруч є Lidl, навпроти торговий центр. Самі апартаменти дуже комфортні, є кондиціонери, що важливо в спекотну погоду. Матраци зручні та комфортні для сну. На кухні є все необхідне. Не зважаючи на досить жваву вулицю де розташований будинок, всередині тихо і затишно. Якщо будемо ще в Будапешті - повернемось сюди з задоволенням.

Сподобалось все. З нюансів хіба що вхідна ручка на дверях апартаментів, яка погано тримається, але це абсолютно дрібниця, яка не заважала. Впевнена, що господарі скоро відремонтують її.

La localització es bona. El lloc és tranquil, sense soroll. El check in (sense ningú) està ben indicat. La part "actualitzada" de l'apartament està bé.

Podria estar més net, sobretot cuina i lavabo, als que també els caldria una "actualització". Vem treure l'estora de la sala perquè feia mala olor. No teniem ni un fregall ni un drap de cuina, el vem demanar i ens van respondre "gracies pel consell, ho tindrem en compte". Està ple de cartells amb "amenaces" de multes si fas tal o qual cosa i et fan sentir inconfortable (entenc que estiguin a les normes d'ús, però no penjats per tot l'apartament), sobretot el de la rentadora vella i rovellada (literalment) amb un avís de que "si l'espatlles pagues". Millor no tocar-la...
