What a fabulous location! We were on a quiet street right in between downtown and the Jewish quarter. Perfect base for exploring.

We booked this two bedroom place for a week-long getaway. When we arrived, one bed was made up with two flattened pillows and two blankets - nothing on the other bed. There were two towels placed on the bed. We'd booked for two people. When I wrote to the contact for the place to ask if the other bed could be made up, she said to take one pillow and one blanket and put it on the other bed. That was okay, but then I asked if we could have some more pillows and towels. We're both two-pillow sleepers and two- towel users. She said yes, that she'd bring them in a couple of days, which was nice -- but then she never showed up, and never wrote to us again. The clothes drying rack in the place is broken and only works if you prop it against a wall. The kitchen is poorly supplied. There were only four paper napkins when we arrived, and there was an empty jar of instant coffee on display. It was difficult to share just one key between the two of us -- I imagine that with a larger group, this would get tougher. Some of the other things in the house could use some repairs, like the bedside table that is missing its drawer, but really it's not bad, and the location is fabulous. Better communication from the management as well as some more attention to detail would make this place a winner.

It was spacious. Good bathroom and 2nd tiolet. Good kitchen and lounge room. Wifi good. Central location. Quiet. Lift.

No sheets on 2nd bed. The sheet we found didn't reach the edges. The 2nd pillow had no pillow case and was badly stained Building was not a hotel but an apartment block It has not sign or name on it. We were looking for the place with the name on our booking and could find no building with that name. So our minibus dropped us off at a hotel with a very similar name. So we had to struggle with luggage to find it. Very tricky without wifi available out on the street. The self check in was very complicated.

Perfect location. A large and spacious apartment.

All the furniture is very old. The apartment also needs renovation.

The building is in a perfect location for those who want to visit Budapest on foot. Although its exterior is worn out, the interior of the house has been arranged to meet the needs. There is a market and cafe nearby. A refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee machine, washing machine, and hair dryer are available. There are enough plates, cutlery and glasses. There are two large beds in the two bedrooms and two single sofa beds in the living room. Detailed information has been sent so that we can get the key.

When we rented the house, Melinda contacted us and was very kind. When we told Melinda that we wanted to get home a little early, we got the answer "maybe if it's available" which was very normal. However, later the apartment management contacted us. This was a bit confusing. When we made the same request on the day of the flight, the apartment management demanded an extra 15 Euros from us. This should have been announced beforehand. One bath towel was left for each guest, but no towel for hair. When you wanted to use a second pillow, there was a spare pillow, but no spare pillowcase was left. There was no welcome pack. Check-in time is 16:00. If your flight is early in the morning like us, you have to wait until this hour or pay extra. Check-out time is 10:00. Check-in time is too late and check-out time is too early.

The location was great, very central and easy to reach. Many important attractions in walking distance. The apartment was good, very spacious and clean.

The owner was not a very nice to his guests - we had several request (simple ones, like to provide a large double blanket or some bowls for cereals), but he refused to help. Also, at one point the heating system was not functional - a lady came and literally was screaming at us in anger that we didn't operate the thermostat correctly. Not a nice way to treat guests, at all.
