Contemporary City Apartment Váci Utca

the apartment itself is great - spacious and well decorated. it’s very centrally located.

the host didn’t meet us at the accommodation- pretty poor communication. for some reason she wasn’t checking her booking.cos messages. so checking in was more stressful than it needed to be. while the location was great, be aware that in the apartment above, it seems to be rented out to party groups. we were kept awake with noise from them until 5:30 am two out of three nights. finally, and worst of all was that there was no internet the entire stay. this was really inconvenient as we needed to work, so we had to use our data and hotspot. the host did not seem to make much of an effort to fix the problem. my guess is that her internet package had reached its data limit and she didn’t want to pay more to extend it. it was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I would not recommend this apartment unfortunately. we have stayed in 3 apartments over our trip, paying the same amount for each, and this is the only one I wouldn’t return to.

Great apartment. Well maintained. Great location and very quiet. Owner responsive to messages. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved the central location and even though it was right in the heart of the shopping district it faced away from the bars and shops, so it was quiet. The rooms were large and we were very comfortable.

No tea or coffee which would have been nice after a 30 hour flight, so we had to rush out to get our own.
