Good Location and good inside the house

there was no lift facility

The location of the apartment was very good, close to the metro station, places to visit, and restaurants. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed. Even though it did not have AC, we had 2 fans that helped us through the hot weather. The staff was amazing, they let us keep our luggage at their office until late because we arrived in the morning and the check in could be done later that day but we wanted to go and visit some places and not waste any time... So they helped us so much by doing that. It was easy to find the place because they gave us very clear instructions and photos. The noise... It did not bother us at all: in the morning we got up early, at 8 AM when the workers came to work we were eating and preparing to go and visit Budapest and in the evening when we got back to the apartment the workers were long gone. Maybe for someone that wants to sleep until late in the morning or to work there it can be a little disturbing but if you plan to visit Budapest you won't be bothered by that. The place is on the second floor and the elevator was under construction so we took the stairs and it was fine, we were 4 girls and we managed well. Maybe if you have heavy and bigger luggage it will be a little difficult, but if you have a backpack and a cabin trolley you will manage just fine.

I don't have anything like that so... Don't know what to say. For us it was perfect.

Perfect location in the centre of the city, nice interior, a very well-equipped kitchenette with all the necessary kitchen utensils and various appliances, an effective fridge, a good shower, excellent WiFi, more or less fast response of the personnel helping to settle arisen technical problems.

The so-called important information in the Booking.com was published as follows: “The building of the apartment is under renovation, which might be noisy. Renovation work is done on the weekdays, except the weekend.” In reality, the situation in the building turned out to be more unpleasant as noise was only a part of that. Firstly, there were no preliminary warnings that guests had to walk to the apartment through actually a construction site climbing on very dusty stairs with no lift accessible. Information about the absence of the lift was not presented in the Booking.com. It was revealed only later in e-mail communication with the host after the reservation had already been made. Secondly, the renovation works were under way also on the weekend, i.e. on Saturday, that disturbed us unexpectedly in the morning. We think that this is not honestly to mislead guests before reservation by not presenting full and true information about the real situation. Besides that, the host pays little attention to details though some of them could be easily improved. For example, a very simple thing like a list of TV channels on paper was not available. Therefore, a foreign guest had to bother with pressing buttons on a remote control browsing through plenty of local channels in order to find a channel in English or, for instance, in German. On arrival day, there were even technical problems with switching on the channels of the TV set but I must say that the personnel of the host helped to settle them. Last but not least to mention, the electric illumination over a washbasin was very dim that made the process of shaving a difficult job.

The apartment is located in a quiet place which may be an issue in central Budapest. Old building. Apartment has all it has to have. Pleased with our stay.
