Budapest Art Nouveau Apartment

This was a beautiful and charming apartment.

The stairs were a bit of a challenge with heavy bags, but we managed.

Fantastic location-5 mins from the iconic Parliament building. Extremely comfortable bed. Roomy feel. Fabulous bathroom with oodles of hot water for a long warming shower. Lovely selection of hot beverage making provided. Lots of space for the big comfy bed as well as the kitchen and dining areas. Its been fitted out with good quality fittings and is in a beautiful building.

The adjoining apartment had visitors who talked loudly and constantly for all their waking hours & as the apartments are only separated by a door, it could be quite loud. I am sure they heard us too.

Location and really cool house

Really good location and very nicely decorated. It was also very comfortable.

The apartment is on the 6th floor and has a lot of steps

The shower was a bit temperamental and the walls to the next apartment were a bit thin

The apartment is beautifully decorated in authentic art Nouveau style with lovely furniture and decorative touches. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The whole apartment block is amazing to behold. There were simple cooking facilities if you really needed to use them but the opportunities for eating out nearby are plentiful. The location is perfect for exploring the city but the flat is incredibly quiet with no road noise or other disturbance.

The shower leaked and we could not work out how to avoid this from happening. The flat is on the 5th floor with no lift which was not clear in the booking information.

No lights at night once inside of front building door. Had to negotiate stairs in complete darkness. Unsafe coming and going at night
