Mezzanine floor bed could not be readily accessed by 70 + years old couple

Perfect location for going out and about in Budapest, close proximity to the train station and to the Margaret island, very easy to get anywhere from there.

In one of the apartments the stairs were very steep but we were aware of that from the pictures. Just for people with worse mobility this should be considered.

Third time staying here and everything was perfect! Will be coming back again for sure :) Location is perfect!

The photos on Booking and the reality of this apartment seem to belong to two completely different universes. The heating supposedly “should be very warm,” according to the host, but the radiator stayed completely ice cold during the entire stay. Maybe the warmth was meant emotionally rather than physically. The broken TV was also a lovely surprise — the cracked screen adds a certain modern-art aesthetic to the room. The sleeping experience deserves special mention as well. Instead of proper pillows, guests are apparently expected to sleep on decorative cushions. Fortunately, there was also an old stained pillow hidden in the dresser, which felt like a mysterious bonus item from previous guests. Towels were provided in true minimalist style: one towel per person and one small hand towel for two people. What made the experience even more disappointing was the host’s reaction. I contacted them regarding both the broken TV and the freezing radiator. The broken TV was completely ignored, and regarding the heating, I was simply told that the apartment “should be very warm,” despite the fact that the radiator remained cold the entire time. I even followed up explaining that the radiator was still not heating at all, but no actual solution was offered. Overall, the apartment feels worn out, poorly maintained, and very different from the listing photos. I usually try to stay understanding while traveling, but unfortunately this place did not match the description or expectations in any way.

Miły apartament, w sam raz na krótki pobyt.

Fajnie że jest ekspres do kawy ale miłym gestem byłoby zostawienie kilku kapsułek. Jak przyjechałam na dwa dni to nie będę kupować całej paczki kapsułek. W apartamencie są bardzo cienkie ściany, słychać wszystko dookoła, ale mimo wszystko oceniam pobyt pozytywnie
