Turul Apartment Budapest

I liked the central positioning of the property, and its cleanliness! The bed was comfortable, and the balcony was wonderful.

Location in Budapest is excellent. The size of the apartment is suitable for a couple. Unfortunately the furniture and facilities are sub standard for the advertised standard on booking.com. Bed is badly stained and pillows are not comfortable at all. The kitchen needs a full renovation and more utensils. TV needs replacing with a larger screen size as it is only a small monitor. No blackout curtains so light fully in at night and early morning.

Very very very dirty everything, worst apartament i have ever been

The bed is very confortable and I like the location.

The closest elevator of the building did not work properly, but luckily there was another one (should just take small walk) which we can use. I was with my baby, so I recommend you to ask about it before arrival.

Nice welcome with coffee cups, chocolate & coffee pods laying out upon arrival. Plenty of clean towels and bedding.

No mop or cleaning detergents, as there were ants & would have liked to have mopped up.

The location is perfect and not hard to park near the building. It is good for a one night stay.

As other guest mentioned, there is a neighbor downstair that prevents you from doing anything after 10pm. We were quiet and moved around the apartment normally and were not loud by any means. But he kept on nocking on our ceiling. The beds were squeaky and it also bothered the mentioned neighbor. The cleanliness is not great, and the bathroom has no real door.

The bedding was clean and nothing had a bad smell to it when we entered which was great for the bare minimum requirements of any traveller.

Don’t fall for the amazing pictures, please! The balcony is barely usable and the floor outside is so dirty. The carpets are old and dirty, their shower has a thick blackout curtain instead of a plastic one so it stays moist for days after one person showers. The worst part is probably the downstairs neighbour who scares you if you move around the house after 10 pm. Seriously, I just got up to pee and he was knocking our floor for a minute. Nobody wants these experiences when they are travelling. I have read other reviews with the same problem - please pay attention if you care about your safety. The bathroom fixtures are problematic as well. For example the tap in the wash basin had some disgusting stuff on the opening. The shower is only handheld - a big inconvenience. The 5th day here was unbearable because I was travelling with a group and they don’t provide any cleaning service.
