Turul Apartment Budapest

The apartment was beautiful and clean.

But this seems less important than what happened to us. - We were 3 adults and an 11-year-old child. Around 11 p.m. we just returned from the city and quietly entered the apartment, a psychopathic man (the neighbor) came and knocked hard on the door and threatened us not to make any noise. In fact, we just entered the apartment and we didn't make any noise! But the threat was so scary as he told us don't to move at all, not a single sound. I quickly called the owner but she didn't answer (which she promised to do if we had any problems). Then I called the police, they came and and after I told them the case, they went and reprimanded that psychopathic man and things went back to normal. I tell you our bitter experience of what happened to us because we were very stressed and didn't sleep all night! The owner did not answer and did not take care of us, when we need a lot!

Very comfortable apartment, good size, excellent location

Check-in instructions need to be clearer, English instructions difficult to understand. Booking states that someone will meet you for check-in, but it is actually self check-in. No light in the entrance near lift and also outside apartment entrance door. Difficult to enter code for key box and find the correct keyhole. Apartment door very loud, needs oiling. Instructions for using TV would be helpful. Bed not very comfortable. Hand held shower hose only! No towel rack. Communication with guests needs improving. Did not receive any response to my messages to host.

It was very close to the main attractions of the city, and it was easy to go anywhere with public transportation. The street is quiet and there are a lot of good stores, restaurants nearby. There is air conditioning unit in the apartment, which helps a lot during the hot summer days in Budapest.

Parking is impossible. The building is quite old, some things were in a good condition, some things not so much. The floor and the bed was very squeaky, it bothered us at night.
