Smart City Apartment 2

Fantastic location Great communication from the host. Easy self checkin and out. Be sure to keep some cash for the city tax. We forgot and had trouble sourcing cash. Good value for money. Local restaurant downstairs, apparently great but you need to book ahead (only online). We couldn’t get in.

The building itself is unclean and in a state of disrepair (like many buildings in this city). The apartment inside is better than the building, but the photos of the apartment make it look much better than it actually is. I’m glad we arrived in daylight - it would be difficult to navigate at night.

The central aspect was great. An excellent restaurant next door. Let us in early which helped us. Spacious apartment.

We had trouble getting up into the bed as we are elderly and one of us is small and has knee and health problems so it was extremely difficult to get up onto the plinth and dangerous at night if one needed to go to the toilet Instructions on the tv,oven, window blinds attractions, transport and restaurants would make this place much better for people of a non Hungarian background.

Close to city centre, sightseeing, transportation, river, in a quiet area, cozy, well heated, with elevator and helpful owner

Heater a little bit noizy sometimes

Bad smell of mold in apartment , No heating in kitchen and bathroom , the heating mashine in bedroom was so noizy.It was cold inside.The bed and mattress were so old and dirty with stains. Same with pillows and covers. Even the pillows were torn . The bathing towels were too small and never changed.Of course we could not spent our holidays there , we had to find other hotel and so we left from day one. After 6 days in the end of our holiday the owner texted us how to leave the keys... so we realise that nobody never went there for cleaning or change towels .Worst experience ever with hotel.

Comfortable and cozy room, perfect location

We definitely needed a little bit more heat. There was an air condition but no controller, so we couldn't use it.

Right in the center of Budapest,literally everything is right next to you.

Close to few main attractions and have all most needed amenities

It is a self check appartment. Was bit difficult to locate building on map. With help of residents, I managed to open main door and learn how it work. Owner did not answer my call, only reply to message on whatapps whenever she read it. Could not close blinds or start heater.... Felt I was left on my own to work it out. Inside building its quite old/dark and look abandoned. Did not feel safe at night.
