Luxurious Penthouse Apartment 1 , City Centre

Central location and well equipped property. Owner was very helpful with queries.

The apartment is perfectly located and has a lovely view. Frank, the host, was wonderful. He came and met us when we got lost and even took our bags up the stairs for us. He also provided us with some information about what to see in the area.

The apartment needs some TLC. The microwave did not work and there were crumbs in one of the drawers. A nearby church rings the bells regularly and does not stop throughout the late night and early hours of the morning causing a not very restful sleep. There were cigarette butts on the balcony floor.

Frank is a great host and was very helpful. The apartment is located very central and had everything that be needed for our vacation. Definitely can recommend staying here!

We spent a lovely three days in Kilkenny in Frank’s comfortable, spacious, wonderfully-located apartment--less than a 15 minute walk from the train station. Frank is a generous, attentive host. He helped carry our bags up the two flights of stairs, and our son carried them down.  Otherwise, the stairs presented no problem for us and we are both in our mid-70s.  The term “luxurious” in the title does not mean fancy or posh. But the enormous amount of space, especially for Europe, the windows with lovely views, the long terrace all felt truly luxurious to our family of three.  The  excellent floor plan meant that everyone had privacy as you can separate the living spaces from the bedrooms, which is very helpful for people with different sleeping schedules. Even without a microwave, we enjoyed many meals in the dining area overlooking Kilkenny. We all felt immediately comfortable and at home.  A huge thank you to Frank!

Bang in the centre of town, spacious, clean, quiet and Frank was a gentleman.

The bell on the museum goes off in the middle of the night which can disrupt sleep. But that is not the hosts fault
