The location is breathtaking with stunning views of the sea. The chalet is small and quirky with some cool features.

It was very cold so I found it hard to heat the chalet, especially the bedroom. I will go back in warmer weather.

The location and views from the property were beautiful! Right beside the beach. And the host Nuala was lovely to deal with. We’ll definitely be back.

We are retired and thought about long stay in a rural cottage .It's in a stunningly beautiful unspoiled location . The house has very artistic bits and the beds very comfy. It suited our taste and certainly the location as we go to remote places but stay cations are usually in yurts,treehouses and lovely little cottages...

We would thankfully be very well travelled ... Madagascar,Alaska,Norway,Africa Transylvania farm houses and gites in France .....and more We usually form great friendships with like minded people ...we are very eco friendly and adore all animals. We felt the host immediately made her mind up that we were going to mess up her house and handmade soft furnishings because we had our dogs with us . My own home is filled with such items and I would treat any where I stay the same as my own home . I hope she inspected after our departure and found it to her ..... satisfaction. But a wonderful location

Everything in the chalet had great character to it. Such a quirky and perfect little place.

Fantastic location and everything we needed for an amazing New year stay. Just perfect to get away from it all...beach walks, walks to the point to watch the waves crashing, Fanad Lighthouse and great for mountain trails . Nuala was a fab host, welcoming but left us to get on unless we needed her. The little cottage was perfect for 2 plus dog. We cooked every day, breakfast and dinner and very doable. Highly recommended and will be back x

This property has nice view of Ocean. It’s quite and near to a beautiful beach.

Everything, from the whale tail door knocker to the hag stone pull cord light switch. The quaint cosiness of the sitting room with a beautiful stove and amazing furnishings. It was super comfortable and inviting. The owner left a beautiful personal greeting card and gift which really set the mood so beautifully, so much so we didn't want to leave to explore the area or at all in fact. We did manage to get to the beach for a quick dip and a stroll, the beach is only a stones throw away and breathtaking. We would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a peaceful tranquil getaway.

The only thing we didn't like is that we had to leave. Next time we will be booking for longer.
