It is a very small cottage with only a small portable oven, microwave and hob in a tiny kitchen. However the living rom warms up easily and the log burning stove is a bonus. The views of Ballyhiernan Bay from the house are magnificent and it is less than a 200 m walk to the long sandy beach. My dog had so much fun. We had taken him away to get away from fireworks and he just loved it. We managed with the cooking facilities and had some lovely lunches in Belle's Kitchen in Rathmullan (highly recommended). There are more beautiful beaches in the area some less than a mile or within walking distance of the house and of course there is Fanad Lighthouse a beautiful spot to spend some time. With limited TV it was wonderful just to sit back and read in the evening. Internet is excellent and I was able to complete some work projects. I would definitely return to this little gem.

"Lovely chalet close to the beach - dog friendly"

The location with its wonderful sea view and very close access to the beach. Lovely small chalet with a carrying and super friendly host. Very friendly neighbourhood.

The hostess was friendly and professional. The beds are comfortable. Great location with fantastic views.

Proximity of kitchen to the bathroom. Shower needs a good scrub.

"Beach house"

Beautiful location, right beside the beautiful beach. Log burning stove and everything catered for in the beach house. Authentic old style experience with a modern twist in places. Great WiFi and we brought laptop in case we wanted to watch a movie etc.

Nothing was an issue for us. We only stayed 3 nights and had a car for accessing any services, eating out etc as you would need due to remoteness.
