The Burren Snug

Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich süß und schön eingerichtet und hatte alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist ruhig und das Haus an sich solide gebaut. Auch bei Sturm war es drinnen geräuscharm. Dusche und Heizung funktionierten gut. Bezüglich der Ausstattung im Küchenbereich wurden unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Es war jegliches Lebensmittelzubehör in der Küche wie Salz, Pfeffer, Kräuter, Tee, Öl etc. vorhanden und dies war frisch und schmackhaft. Es gab gute Handtücher und auch ausreichend, im Bad, wie auch Küchenbereich.

Das Schlafzimmer befindet sich im Obergeschoss, wodurch es etwas unkomfortabel war, um mit den Koffern dahin zu gelangen. Die Kleidung konnte dort nur in Kommoden verstaut werden. Ich hätte mir den ein oder anderen Kleiderhacken zum Aufhängen der Kleidung oder speziell Jacken gewünscht. Das Doppelbett war auf einer Seite etwas instabil. Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr versteckt, wodurch man es anfänglich nicht so leicht finden konnte.

Burren Snug is very well appointed for a family get-away. It had all the right basics and an overall a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend for a couple or a small family stay. Hosts were very welcoming and allowed us to check in a bit early.

It was a little hard to find as there was no sign and Google maps had us pull into someone else's property initially. It would help tremendously to have a sign, but other than that everything was great.

Very friendly owner and cute little accommodations in the countryside. This made for great access for Connemara as well as Cliffs of Moher and driving and enjoying the Wild Atlantic. It was nice lot have quiet and be in beauty of country .

Benefits outweighed anynegative

Very nice, clean, and well maintained. There is a double bed and a single bed upstairs, which was a bonus for the three of us. The house is much better than it appears in the photos on the website.

The barbecue was old, dirty, and not functioning properly. We were unable to use it, even though Michelle kindly provided a gas cylinder, as it still did not work.
