Orchardgrove apartment

Beautiful grounds, perfect size apartment with a nice sized private patio. Both bedrooms had an en suite our host had made homemade muffins and had fresh eggs from their chickens, stocked the refrigerator and left us a very nice bottle of wine. Mairead and Tony were exceptional hosts, so friendly, they picked us up at bus, drove us to several areas we were touring, as we didn’t have a car. I look forward to going back and renting from them again especially when I retire, the perfect place to stay. You can walk to Bagenalstown, which has several pubs, shopping and a nice path for walking.

No mirror in the 2nd bedroom which was small , as was the toilet / shower

Absolutely fantastic accomodation. We stayed in the apartment. It was immaculately decorated and equally spotless clean. Our beds were so comfortable and the 2 bedrooms in the apartment both had an ensuite. It had everything and more that anyone could possibly need for a night, a weekend or a week away. Our hosts were Mairead and Tony ( by the way) both were exceptional in making us 3 ladies welcome and I nearly forgot the little dog. Mairead had graciously left us a wonderful welcome pack of goodies to enjoy, which we did. Eggs homemade queen cakes and so many more extras. We will be back and we will bring friends. Exceptional accomodations and if there was a 10 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating this is where I'd give it.

I didn't like the rain. This accomodation is faultless

From home to home. Upon arrival there was a welcome basket waiting for us with sweets, fruits,cereals and wine. Spotless apartment. Very clear, beds very comfortable and spotless bathroom. Not in town but location very convenient. Short drive to Kilkenny and Carlow. We had a great time. We do not meet the owners bud Mairead always text and ask is everything ok. For sure we will be back.

There is nothing to dislike.

We stayed in the apartment, everything was arranged for us when we arrived, breakfast and eggs were in the fridge and we had our own home from home. The hosts were really great and arranged things for us and gave a lot of very good advice around the area. They even invited us to breakfast on my birthday.

If at all I would say the B&B is relatively close to a road which was a bit noisy at times.
