Hostess was rude and unfriendly. When we called her an hour before arrival, as requested, her response when we told her our name, was:”And tell me why I should care”? A very strange way to be greeted. We were also given the the wrong map coordinates for the very rural property so spent over an hour needlessly searching for it. When we called asking for accurate directions no one answered. An hour later we called again, she did answer, apologized and provided the correct map coordinates. At last we could find the place, up a long gravel tract. The morning of departure there was a very loud banging on the door. There stood an angry woman, the hostess. It was 10:30 AM. She informed us that 10:30 was the checkout time and she had a guest coming at 12:30 so we needed to vamoose. Oddly, when we checked in we were told the check in time was 3pm. We were never informed of the checkout time and there was no written material in the accommodation with this information. One of these factors would have been odd, but collectively made us realize we were quite unwelcome. It would seem the hostess does not like being a hostess. At least that was a clear impression we were left with by the way we were spoken to and treated. We were always pleasant, paid the going rate but left feeling disappointed and offended. P.S. Tracy our host did greet us upon warmly upon arrival and was very pleasant.

This is a great apartment with an amazing view! It has all the ammenities (and then some!) and is very quiet and safe. Tracy was helpful with suggestions on what to see and do as well as where to eat. Communication was excellent!

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. It's a fairly remote location but the view makes up for the distance from town.
