The Roost

We stayed for 3 nights in the 1 bedroom cottage and it was perfect! Walking distance to town and easy parking makes such a difference. The kitchen was well equipped - we cooked each night. The bedroom and bathroom (both upstairs) were spacious and comfortable. Windows could be opened to allow ventilation. Clear instructions re wifi etc were left as well as recommendations for cafes etc. A washing machine and clothesline were a bonus. The friendly host checked in with us the following day to make sure all was OK. Apart from all the practical things, the cottage was also very stylishly decorated.

The kitchen space was great. The porch was delightful. The location was excellent.

Ventilation was poor; no air movement at all. Dragging our luggage across the gravel walkway was difficult.

Great location. Quiet, Clean, able to sit outside with plenty of space. Good wifi. Nice big shower in the bathroom.

Beautifully decorated with everything we would need. Amazing bed, so comfortable. Friendly people in the house.
