The Roost

Charming accommodation that is tastefully furnished in a wonderful location. Only 5 mins walk into the town and has it's own courtyard offering great privacy and off street parking. Everything you need is there including an iron and board, hairdryer, beautiful shower gel and shampoo and the basics for the kitchen (tea, coffee, sugar, oil and salt). The hosts Linda and Paul are very friendly and are nearby if needed. Will definitely hope to be back.

Cosy and great location

We stayed for two nights in the garden shed. The location is great. You are very close to the main restaurants and pubs, just a short walk over the river. The attention to detail with the property is very unique. The bed is probably one of the comfiest I have ever stayed in, the pillows are very soft. It is very cosy and picturesque at night with the patio lighting. I loved everything about our stay. The host Linda was very attentive, and checked in with us and communicated well.

A microwave would have been nice

The accommodation was much more spacious than we expected and it was really beautifully decorated. The fact that it looks right onto the wee river was lovely too.
