Oia Cave Loft

We stayed in this wonderful place for 3 nights. The host arranged a transfer for us and a person who helped us with our luggage and check-in. When you go to Oia, make sure to take this into consideration, because by the time you drag your heavy luggages and try to find your home in rocky place, you will be very tired. The service cost €20. When we arrived at our place, my jaw dropped at the sight. By the way, this is one of the most Instagrammable views in Santorini. Behind our house, tourists line up to see the famous Three Blue Domes of Santorini and take photos. The line started at 5-6 am and continued until 10 pm. But that didn't bother us at all. In other reviews, I read this as a huge downside. However, we never experienced a situation where someone didn't want to let us pass. I always had the keys to the house with me to show them, if needed. When passing through the line of tourists, I told them that I’m staying here, and everyone was amazed and said how cool it was to stay in such a place. The house is stunning, right in the center of Oia. Everything is within walking distance. It’s is clean, cozy, and in cave style. The host is very pleasant and helpful in all matters. Because it is an apartment, not a hotel room, we thought there would be no cleaning service. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that this service was provided. I will definitely come back here, and I will also send my friends and relatives to this place specifically. Because this place had one of the best views on the island, the other views didn't impress us much 🤣 no jokes, this is the best place to stay in Santorini. Nearby hotels were super expensive, and this place is a hidden gem on the island. I highly recommend it to everyone.

From the balcony, you can see the breathtaking view of Oia Caldera and the Blue Dome Church. The staff is very responsive to meet our requests.

Excellent location and world class view. Very limited hot water. Must flip a circuit breaker on for 20minutes and then have enough hot water for one shower and start over. Poor check in process. Took an hour for someone to show up to take us to the rooms

Oia Cave Loft has the BEST view In Santorini. People literally line up for hours near the steps to this apartment, just to get a picture, and you get that view from your balcony 24/7. The view from the loo is even amazing! When you arrive you are greeted by Maria, possibly the sweetest, most enthusiastic girl you’ll ever meet, who is available to answer any questions you have during your stay. The cave loft is clean, and cool, and in a prime location.

Clean, sunny, comfortable loft with the perfect view. Bathroom was clean and big enough. Position was perfect and exactly what we wanted.

Patio is quite big, but table and chairs not comfortable (for 4 people we had only two outdoor chairs, and need to take two more from the kitchen😵‍💫). Completly unappropriate for enjoying on the terrace, and not looking good in beautiful enviroment of Oia. There was no cleaning equipment, which is very necessary when there is no cleaning lady for 5 days.

As other reviewers have said, the location directly by the blue domes is stunning! The host was 100% responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The drivers they work with were great as was the porter. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. A no fuss basic stay. BUT it’s a NO due to the hundreds of people you will need to push and shove your way through to get to the apartment.

The LOCATION! Be prepared for literally HUNDREDS of people lined up and clamoring for position on the very narrow paths leading to the famous 3 blue domes all the way down to the property!!! A hellish experience every time you leave and return to the apartment. You will have to push and shove through all those people to get to the apartment and they all think you are cutting the line. It was very uncomfortable, unpleasant and irritating experience! Plus there is no privacy on the small terrace from ALL those people. Perhaps staying during off season this location would be ok. Otherwise it’s an absolute NO. Things that could be improved: sun umbrella on patio, extra towels, a bath mat, tissue boxes, kitchen towels, additional hooks in bathroom shower area and sink area to hang towels. We also somehow had a miscommunication and did not have the porter when we arrived so lugging luggage in extreme heat, extreme crowds and narrow, cobblestone paths was torturous!
