Vintage, it was like travelling into Victorian era but with modern facilities. Bedroom was to die for, really a great choice for a couple to spend time with.

Actually nothing, we had a great stay, Rachel, David and Clive are great people helped us with out thought stayed in touch even till we reach home.

Friendly hosts. Gorgeous property and beautiful loft apartment. Nice that we were greeted by the hosts and wished us farewell when we departed, but also nice that we were just left to it once we had checked in.

Loft apartment was quite cold upon arrival, but soon warmed up once the boiler had been switched on!

The location was lovely and quiet. It was nice and secure with gates at the front. Lovely and clean property with everything you need to cook meals. Rachel was very kind and met us when we arrived as well as showing us to our room- a nice personal touch. Instructions printed out for what we need to do which is helpful. Bed is on the softer side which is okay for some... Ample parking as well as swinging space in the apartment for two people. Apartment is decorated nicely with good use of space. Shower is great!

Being on the ground floor, we could hear people talking as well as walking across their apartment.It was incredibly loud and woke us up early each morning. (Not the other guests fault) We was hoping to be rested on this trip. A little pet hate of mine- the dining table was a little wobbly and annoying when eating on it. The salt and pepper pots were rusty, not knowing that when we put it on our dinners... They were next to the table so we thought they were for use. Disappointed to not see any coffee/milk waiting for us so we could relax and have a cuppa before heading back out after a long journey getting there.

What a delightful place to stay, peaceful surroundings and everything provided for your comfort and happiness. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. Penarwyn house gives you a warm hug. Thanks

Stylish decorated apartments in a beautiful house surrounded by lovely gardens. Rachel and David are wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful and very welcoming.

Stunning property. Gorgeous grounds. Welcoming and genuinely lovely hosts. I took my mum here for her 70th and I couldn't have made a better choice. We had the garden room/appartment which was stunning. Beautiful stained glass window, huge velvet curtains, chandelier and gold leaf ceiling rose. There was plenty of room for us both with the added bonus of having a separate lounge, dining area and kitchen. There was also a private outdoor seating area for us. Rachel very kindly left out a basket of cornish goodies and a card for my mum when she heard it was her 70th birthday. I personally enjoyed chatting to Rachel's mum in the garden while I was out taking pictures. There is a secret garden to explore. The grounds are full of mature trees and bushes as well as beautiful flowers. Definitely recommend. Well worth the money. Only 5 mins from Eden Project. 25 mins drive to The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
