Fantastic furnishings and fixtures good parking close to Eden Project and the rail link.

Es war ein Traum! Die Auffahrt war schon ein Erlebnis, die elektrisch zu öffnenden Tore, dann das Anwesen und der Garten. Unglaublich schön! Alles sehr großzügig. Die Wohnung ist ein unglaublicher Mix aus zeitloser Eleganz, modernem Komfort und antiken Features (Fenster im Bad). Die Einrichtung war gepflegt und exquisit. In jedem Detail steckte Sorgfalt und Liebe. Das Bett göttlich bequem und riesengroß. Alles war vorhanden und wenn etwas nicht da war, hat Rachel es sofort organisiert. Der Austausch mit der Hausdame war herzlich und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Dennoch wurde die Privatsphäre stets respektiert. Man fühlte sich absolut willkommen.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Spacious and well equipped

Very well positioned for our visit to The Eden Project. Elegant, comfortable apartment in quiet location.

We were in the Art Deco apartment The property is really lovely and is in an easy to find location with free parking. The apartment has everything you need and the bedroom and bathroom are gorgeous. The bed is really comfortable and the large bath is a real treat. The kitchen is fully equipped with tea/coffee etc but unfortunately no fresh milk. Overall very clean and comfortable. Communication from the host prior to arriving was really good. Of note is that the apartment is up 2 flights of stairs so maybe tricky for someone less able.

There were a few things that unfortunately fell a bit short during our stay. The path leading up to the door was so slippery due to the rain and could have easily caused an accident. Apparently it is always like this when it’s wet. The apartment lacked any real personal touches. Ie biscuits, fresh milk , recommendations for things to do/ eat , previous visitor book etc. The bathroom towel rail was not heated so the towels remained damp overnight as it was quite chilly due to the bad weather. I messaged the host for recommendations but didn’t get a reply until the morning we were leaving which was disappointing.

Nothing. Only improvement would be access to a drying area for beach stuff

The loft room was very well laid out and with some style. Huge TV. Kitchen area had all we needed.

Minor issues, nothing a problem.

Everything was great

Penarwyn House was an excellent place for our short stay in Cornwall, with a central location to the places we wanted to visit. The Hosts, David and Rachel, were great. Chatting with David, he mentioned the rail services from Par. The next day, we took the train to St Ives, which was relatively inexpensive and really convenient, much easier than driving. The apartment was extremely well-presented and had everything we needed. The huge bed was really comfortable and the shower was great.

A small dishwasher would have been great, but not really a problem.
