Ella Country House

It’s very rare when expectations truly match reality — but Ella Country House was exactly that. The hotel is beautifully renovated, with comfortable furniture and a balcony view that deserves every compliment. The staff kindly arranged a wonderful, delicious breakfast on our balcony, which made the morning even more special. I only regret one thing: that we stayed here for just one night. Highly recommended — we would absolutely love to return

This is a stunning property in a really nice location, the breakfast was a really nice added extra and they even made us a packed version for our last morning as we were checking out super early! We really enjoyed staying here! We also really appreciated the help with booking Tuk Tuks etc while we were here

The only downside was the WiFi could have been better but we found the same everywhere in Ella so nothing that impacted our trip and was nice to unplug

Fijn verblijf gehad. Net buiten de drukte van het centrum, maar je loopt er zo naartoe. Mooi uitzicht op de bergen, warme douche, lekkerste bed tot nu toe in Sri Lanka en een overheerlijk (en ruim) ontbijt!

The bed was large and comfortable. Balcony had amazing views. The shower was brilliant. Breakfast was freshly cooked and a variety of foods. The staff were most helpful and easily reachable. It was a 5 minute walk into town centre.

Pillows were very hard. Although near town centre you are on the busy main route into Ella. The whole building could do with a refresh.

Abbiamo amato questo posto ma vanno chiarite alcune cose. Posti come questo non sono veri e propri hotel, o quantomeno non sono hotel come li conosciamo tutti, è una guest house a conduzione famigliare. La famiglia ti accoglie, ti cucina, ti fa la colazione, ti porta a fare escursioni e vive tendenzialmente nello stesso stabile. Fatta questa premessa questa casa è stata una bellissima sorpresa. Non fatevi ingannare dall’ingresso “un po spartano” , le camere sono grosse, hanno tutte un balcone con sedute e tavolo che da sulla giungla vera e propria. La colazione viene portata, abbondante, direttamente in camera; volendo puoi consumarla sul balcone. La gentilezza della famiglia è unica. Sempre sorridenti e disponibili. La casa è davvero a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro di Ella che per noi è stato il valore aggiunto per stare un po’ fuori, ma non troppo, dal delirio del centro della cittadina. Consiglio vivamente questo posto e ringrazio Ella country house per averci trattato benissimo.

Nulla in particolare. Visto il prezzo, il posto, la colazione e la cortesia direi che non c’è nulla da dire di “non bello”

Wir haben bereits das zweite Mal im Abstand von sieben Jahren hier übernachtet. Man muss erst mal schaffen, über so viele Jahre alles so gut Instand zu halten, dass diese Unterkunft immer noch eine unserer besten in Sri Lanka war. Das Personal ist total freundlich und erfüllt dir jeden Wunsch. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und vielfältig. Zusammen mit dem Ausblick auf den Ella Rock ist es eines der besten, was man sich in Sri Lanka vorstellen kann. Das Zimmer war insgesamt sehr komfortabel und man hat sich stets wohl gefühlt. Sicher ist es etwas laut an der Straße, aber man ist weg vom Trubel Ellas.

Es gibt nichts, was wir auszusetzen haben.
