Casa Almika Dante Apartment 2

Stylish and modern apartment (we are talking about No. 2) on two floors with all necessary accessories. The kitchen is well equipped, the space is huge and two whole bathrooms are available. The air conditioners do a great job, the beds are very comfortable. The bath towels provided for our use were of very high quality. Apart from the missed hairs on the staircase between the two floors, the cleanliness was visible and satisfactory. We were provided with good quality coffee and tea. We didn't use the kitchen to cook, but everything which is needed was available. Kitchen utensils and dishes were new and clean. They had thought of some nice details like ice cubes in the the deep freezer. We reached the place very easily: by train from the airport and less than a fifteen minute walk from the central station. No taxis or public transport were needed. The host met us at the entrance after I rang him from the airport and handed over the keys without much formality. The distance to the historic centre was also very decent: a fifteen minute walk. The surrounding area is lively - there are shops, minimarkets, restaurants and bakeries. The main shopping street in town is a 5 minute walk away. The place does not offer parking, but parking on the street is free between 20:00 and 08:30 in the morning. Since we used the rental car during the day and returned in the evening, this was very convenient for us and we paid practically nothing for parking. Although the interior windows overlook a huge courtyard with large and densely populated apartment buildings, it was extremely quiet and peaceful in the evenings.

There is a serious mistake in the description of the place - the apartment does not have a balcony. We had our morning coffee at the kitchen table, which wasn't quite the same experience. In the downstairs bathroom, where the shower is located, there are no options to hang your towel. There are no trays inside the showercabin and shampoo etc. has to be put on the ground. The toilet paper was of very poor quality. The place does not have many wardrobes. In fact the downstairs bedroom has no wardrobe for clothes. Meanwhile the beds were decorated with multiple pillows. Where to put them? The staircase between the two floors is steep and not suitable for children. The landlords should re-examine the glassware in the kitchen: some had been cleaned a long time ago and were now in unsatisfactory condition, and some tenants before us had broken one wine glass... and put it back in the cupboard. The prices of hotels and accommodation in general in Bari are unreasonably high.

The flat is very nice and big! We stayed only two nights so we didn't use all the facilities, but it has a very big kitchen, two bathrooms, a small lounge with a sofa and TV and then the bedroom, bedroom is nice, the bed is very very comfortable, same the pillows, it has a smart TV as well. The bathroom has a lot of space (both of them), and the shower in the main one was very good and powerful. It is about a 5 min walk to the main road with all the shops and 15 min walk to the old town (piazza) where most restaurants are, but the walk is very nice, and not far at all !! We really liked this place!

We liked everything! If we have to say something is that maybe the WiFi didn't work that good in the room, but it was great in the rest of the flat, and the smart TV in the room also worked well.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. Clean and modern apartment with amazing location. Close to the train station and all the restaurants/bars. Comfortable beds. You can really rest in the apartment.
