Little Elm - luxury home from home, free parking, 30-40 mins walk from Bath city centre

Absolutely outstanding property just a short drive or a lovely 30/40 minute walk.

The property was spotless the owner Wendy was so hospitable and thoughtful

High standard of furnishings and decoration. Nice welcome kit of tea, coffee, bread and milk. A quiet location.

Location peaceful, out of town but we knew that before we booked. Lovely 30 minute canal walk into Bath centre, or a bus stop seven minutes away.

Everything was perfect for our stay. I know others have mentioned the walk into Bath was too long, but it took us 30 minutes and was pleasant. One of the cleanest properties I've stayed in, with comfy beds. You can hear everyday type noises from the house as it is attached but I wouldn't put this as a negative as wherever you stay there will be noise from somewhere! It was really lovely to find bread and a selection of jam, marmalade, honey, peanut butter, plus milk in the fridge - very welcome after a long day out. Thanks Wendy, you have obviously put a lot of thought into the beautiful holiday home.

There wasn't anything to dislike!

Owner provided complementaries such as bread, butter, jam, juice and milk. Also instand coffee and tea bags. Terrace for exclusive use. Very good and prompt communication with owner via messenger.

Unfortunately a little dark inside (dark wall painting) and no views (blinded windows in living room/kitchen) and a terrace sorrounded by high wodden fence on four sides. Terrace covered with sharp gravel. - No french press/coffee machine provided.

The area was nice and quiet. The house was decorated to a high standard. The host was helpful and checked in when the fire alarm went off because of cooking on the first day.

It will be more helpful if the curtains could be blackout ones as it gets light very early during summer. We have 2 boys so it will be better to have twin beds in one of the rooms for them rather than a king bed. But this is not a big issue.

A great well kept and well appointed holiday home.

We had no issues at all.

The space was immaculate, with new fixtures and features and lots of thoughtful touches, like milk and OJ in the fridge. The family who host the space were very friendly. Comfortable beds, great for families.

The shower "door" is a little odd - makes for a wet bathroom!
