Southcot Place, Apartment With Garden

Perfect location for visiting Bath, nice easy walk into city centre. The house had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable.

Added bonus having a garden, particularly as the weather was amazing

Overall our stay was amazing. The Host Helen was absolutely fantastic and helped with lots of questions I asked before our stay. She gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants, booked a permit for parking in the Area. The house was wonderful and I would definitely recommend or go back to the property. Thank you Helen for all your help and making our stay a wonderful one!

Well equipped kitchen. All you need is taken care of. Comfy lounge. Quiet location. Great sleep comfort in Pretty garden for fresh air breaks. Convenient and easy taxi runs.

A few tweaks on paint work. Staircase spindles. A bit scuffed here and there on walls. Spare toilet. New seat should be considered.

Real comfort no skimping on furnishings and extras that made it feel special. Like snuggly blankets, welcome basket, essentials in kitchen like sugar, milk, coffee. Whole place was dressed beautifully and would heartily recommend. Host was spot on with communication. Only minutes from town but felt very quiet & exclusive. Local amenities were great with all you could need from a couple of pubs to a corner shop

About the apartment ‘nothing’ about Bath, the parking is a pain and can be expensive but that isn’t the hosts fault

Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und liegt an einem absolut ruhigen, schönen Platz . In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Bahnhof und in der Fußgängerzone ( gleich zu Beginn liegt ein großer Supermarkt) , in 10 Minuten bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Schlafzimmer sind im Souterrain , sehr geräumig . Die Betten sind bequem. Helen ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und hat uns persönlich begrüßt. In der Küche stand ein Korb mit Snacks und einem Päckchen Kaffee , im Kühlschrank frische Milch. Eine rundum gute Erfahrung - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei gutem Wetter ist der kleine Garten sicher ein schöner Platz zum Sitzen, Lesen, Frühstücken... Ein idealer Ort , um Bath und die wunderschöne Umgebung mit Bus und Bahn kennenzulernen.

Insgesamt ist die Wohnung ein wenig feucht, was bei dem Klima und der historischen Bausubstanz unvermeidbar ist. Deshalb steht im Souterrain ein Luftentfeuchter. Ein paar Frühstücksteller mehr wären gut.

Happy with it all

The property is a true, home from home with everything you could want or need from a rental. Helen even left fresh milk for us upon our arrival which meant no trip to the supermarket was needed after a long journey. The location could not have been better. The property was in a very quiet, upmarket area but a walk into town only takes 5 to 10 minutes so you don’t need to order a taxi every time you want to explore. And there are so many walkable places on its doorstep, like Prior Park which was beautiful.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property! We would recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Bath. If we had to make one recommendation, it would be to have a few more coat hangers, but that’s the only thing we can say needs to be improved upon.
