Southcot Place, Apartment With Garden

This was home away from home. There were so many little extras- from the basket of goodies to the stick blender -that we appreciated. The style and contents made it a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy Bath. We could walk everywhere. Helen is a lovely helpful host.

Parking is very expensive!

An exceptional spot to enjoy beautiful Bath. The property is not in the middle of the city, but very central and in a quiet court area. This renovated light filled grade 2 apartment with garden is lovely, and the view of Bath was an unexpected treat. The property was clean and super comfortable with loads of space in the lounge, kitchen, modern bathroom and beds. There is a washer and dryer, and good amount of cooking utensils etc, so its a place to enjoy a short or long stay. It has hit our top 5 stays so far across Ireland and UK after 7 weeks of travel. Our criteria is always hospitable and easy to deal with hosts, clean and comfortable, relaxing space and of course value for money (this doesn't mean cheap - but represents value).

Parking was a bit of a challenge. The host arranged a permit for us and while the local court parking was usually full, there was permit parking in close walking distance.

Comfortable, clean, and spacious in a great location with a nice sunny aspect and lovely garden. Handy to the train station and local shops 5 minutes walk away.

Check in instructions were easy. The location to CBD was just a 5 minute walk. The apartment was well appointed and roomy.

All was good, just over 2 levels.

Perfect location near the train station, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. A wonderful old Georgian complex. The house felt like a real home. Tremendously comfortable, nicely decorated. We really felt like we were in Bath when we were in our temporary home. Helen was a wonderful and helpful host.

Perfect location in a quiet area a few minutes walk from the town centre. This is a lovely apartment with clean comfortable facilities and plenty of information provided by the host. Lots of small touches to help to make it welcoming and a gorgeous house. Highly recommended.

Those with allergies should notify the host in advance to remove feather bedding. This was kindly done for me and replaced with synthetic for a very comfortable stay. There is an additional cost for parking (which is a Bath City wide issue and not the host's) and it can be arranged very easily in advance of stay if you contact the host. A small chair in the hall would be handy, so you can sit while putting on shoes.

Excellent standard of accommodation and within 5 minutes walk of Bath Town centre. A lovely welcome package was a nice touch with coffee, tea, biscuits and chocolate etc with a milk in the fridge!

Excellent location. Well equipped kitchen. Host went out of her way to meet us at the house early so that we could drop off our bags.

Helen was an exceptional host, communicated quickly and helpfully. The apartment was in a great location, a short walk into the centre of town but in a quiet secluded street so there was no other noise at night. Coffee shops, cafes and other stores are the next street over. The apartment itself was spacious and well equipped, really comfy beds as well. Street parking is also available there, but spaces are limited. Would definitely stay again.
