Blue Attic Historical Como City Center

Delightful little apartment in an excellent location, well equipped, nice little balcony

So many low ceilings made moving around a bit awkward. Shower arrangement quite awkward with very low ceiling and no shower curtain, so water went everywhere.

Communication with hosts was excellent. Location was excellent.

There were multiple things with wrong the accomodation. The most notable was the lack of space in the accomodation. We had 3 guests with the fold out couch which left absolutely no space for us to relax or move about comfortably. There was excess furniture within the apartment that was not needed that added to the cramped space. Secondly, the low ceilings were very frustrating. Each guest is not notably tall (all under 6ft) and we all banged our heads multiple times on the ceiling. The advertisement for the shower was also extremely misleading. The shower/ bath situation was very unconventional and not at all suitable for adults. Another major issue which we had was the aircon. The day we arrived the aircon had broken. The hosts were very accomodating by sending a maintenance person to try fix it however with the outcome of it being broken the only solution was with a portable aircon which meant there was either hot air being blown into the room or having to sleep with the door ajar in order the ventilate the aircon. Another thing was the lack of natural lighting. In the entire apartment there was only 2 windows with 1 being directly onto a children’s playground. This meant there was minimal privacy and a full ambience in the apartment as the main window had to be kept closed. There was also no ashtray provided.

Sofa bed took up all the room and maybe could do with a better light on the stairs

The location was perfect. It was a nice size apartment for two travellers. It had everything we needed. We liked the environmentally friendly soaps and welcome pack of pasta.

Fortunately my daughter and I are not tall because the kitchen and bathroom headspace is very low - even for us at 5'4"! Also the light going down the stairs was almost non existent and a bit dangerous.

Everything was well presented clean and comfortable. The facilities were all working and well equipped The staff attended to our every query quickly and efficiently were helpful and polite

One small point is that the ceiling height is a bit limited if like me your very tall. I did get a couple of bangs on the head. Minior problem and didn't detract from the enjoyment

The apartment was clean and cosy, the host is very nice and helped with directions. And they also have the web page with all the instructions and advice on activities and restaurants

You have to fill the form online with your data and pay citi tax online. If you don’t, they will charge you 70€ for doing that upon arrival. That was inconvenient as the form was big with a lot of steps and there we lots of words in the documents that I had to sign, I did not read it as that is not how I wanted to be spending time on my vacation. PS mind your head when you use sink in the kitchen

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful attic appartment! It was well located, in the city center and close to everything. The area around the appartment is super cute and picturesque. The appartment is a good size and the little balcony was a great plus! The host were responsive and the instructions were clear. They provided us with all the essentials. Their customer service is A1!

Beware if you are tall, the kitchen and the bathroom have low ceilings. Also, there is no shower in the bathroom, only a bath with a shower head. But it was still manageable!

Superb location - central for sightseeing, transport links, eating out and only a short walk to Lake Como. Very secure property, fantastic hosts!
