Boots Cottage

Where do I start..this place exceeded my expectations. If you like the look of this place by it's pictures believe me when I tell you will love it 10 times more when you see it. I travelled here alone as a single parent of 2 I felt very safe and at ease. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Gave you privacy but there if needed. It's spotless clean to a high standard. fully equipped to a 5* standard it literally has EVERYTHING you need. , the thought and considerate that's gone into making sure guest feel Welcome and at home is amazing. It really is home from home, the kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I've seen in any holiday let. Theres board games books, Netflix, torches, maps of the area and lots of info on bude and the local area, books near the toilet. Even freshly made scones cream and jam . Milk in the fridge ice in the freezer. Not forgetting the lovely coffee. Truely to much to mention. Location is great less than 10mins from everything you need. Bude is a lovely place with some beautiful beaches I'd love to return when the weather is better, if I do boots cottage would be the only place I'd stay. Thank you so much of letting us stay we enjoyed and appreciated every effort put into to making this place as comfortable and enjoyable as it was.

My personal choice I didn't like the bed dispite it being very comfortable and I slept well. It was very creaky and me being on the larger size I was worried to much tossing and turning I would break it 🙈 next time I would sleep on the sofa bed down stairs

the cottage was really nice lovely touch of scones and cream and jam left in fridge. The bed was ok for the first 2 nights but then so bad had to buy a freeze spray for my partners back

on the pictures shows car parked next to the cottage ( that is why we booked there ) but after monies taken email sent to say turning into cottage tight so make sure wing mirrors are turned in. It was that tight we damaged our car trying to turn it so we could drive out; but then Helen said we could park around the corner in the "community" car park. This had to be done for safety but as we asked for parking next to the property so we could watch our car we felt upset that this could not be done as the car cost us a lot.

Our family had an incredible time at Boots Cottage. The cozy atmosphere and cleanliness of the cottage made us feel right at home. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including incredibly comfortable beds that guaranteed a good night's sleep. The cottage was fully equipped with all the amenities we could ask for, making meal times and downtime enjoyable and stress-free. The welcoming owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The charming cottage nestled in the beautiful countryside provided the perfect backdrop for our family vacation. Being so close to all the tourist attractions in North Cornwall, including the stunning beaches of Bude, was a huge plus, making our adventures easy and convenient. We loved being able to explore the local area and enjoy all that Bude has to offer.Breakfast supplies and afternoon tea were delicious.

Wounderful little Cottage close to Bude. Very friendly and helpful owners. It was a pleasure to stay here for a few days.

The area was lovely although the main road was quite noisy The scones were absolutely yummy thank you.

Not having a downstairs toilet was the main thing for me as I now my dog is older I tend to stay with her though the night. Having the use of the garden was a big plus as there is no way I could have got her over to the field for her to go & I’m pretty sure she would not have gone in the courtyard.

Great location and perfect base to explore it from. Boots Cottage had everything we needed and Helen and Andy were amazing hosts. Would book again.
