Beautiful cosy mini house. Lovely view from bedroom. Lots of self catering facilities - it was nice to make breakfast ourselves for a change and catch a film on Netflix that was provided on the tv. Yard was nice to have breakfast in. Matilda was a welcoming host.

It was comfortable, clean, and close to the all the hotspots in Hvar.

We were a bit confused on arrival about how to get the keys because we didn't have wifi but it worked out in the end.

this was an amazing find for us! the self contained apartment was next door to where the lovely owner lived. she couldn’t do enough for us and was super friendly, yet not at all intrusive. the apartment was beautifully clean and had lots of extras such as salt, pepper, coffee available. we didn’t cook there, but it looked like a very well equipped kitchen. the shower room was lovely and had plenty of hot water. there was no view from the ground floor living room, but there was a lovely closed in courtyard, and the view from the bedroom was beautiful.

this apartment was at the top of a hill, with many steps. we knew this when booking, and were glad we only had small bags with us. if you’ve got large luggage this would be an effort to walk to from the ferry port.

it was the perfect two days there! such a lovely apartment with beautiful views of the sea, love the lighting upstairs, quiet part of town. would recommend highly this place to anyone!

Let me start saying that Matilda was a great host, she greeted me warmly and explained a few things about the area and his family. The apartment itself is lovely, spacious and with a great view from the bedroom with a comfortable bed. The living room and kitchen are quite nice to relax as well as the terrace where you can seat for a glass of wine or two... You share the main entrance with the family, but the apartment has a gate and it's rather private anyway. Location wise, you won't be far away from the main sights or hvar town and restaurants. It's really easy to find if you put the adress on Google maps. All the stairs from the port where the catamaran arrives lead up here. Bear in mind that it's uphill and you have to climb +/- 150 stairs, so if you have a large or heavy suitcase, it's going to be hard work and you'll sweat your butt off especially if you do this during summer. I'm not sure if there is Uber here, Also there are some stairs within the apartment to get up to the bedroom, so it won't be ideal for a disabled person.
