The apartment had a great terrace with views over Faro. It is a small apartmenert but terrace is worh it. Easy walk into town. The water and fruit were great too

Outstanding view from rooftop patio. Large windows (with shutters) provided excellent natural light. Kitchen had everything we needed. Host was very gracious considering our unexpected, late arrival!

The terrace and the view were amazing. The location is great, in a quiet area and 10 min walk to the centre and the marina. It had everything a person needs when on a vacation. The owner is very lovely and helpful lady.

The terrace is south facing and has 270 degree view over the city and out to Ria Formosa, on a sunny day you'll get sun all day. There are other comments about it being shared and external to the apartment - just to clarify this, the door out to the terrace is immediately outside the apartment door. The terrace is shared with the one other tenant on that floor who I gather is an elderly lady. Her door to the terrace is around a corner and, the way I saw it, the corner delineates a boundary that's respected by both sides. Apartment was clean and had all I needed. Around 15 minute walk to the old town with a supermarket around 5 minutes away. Ideal for 1-2 people for a few days

One small thing - I stayed in late December and the apartment was quite cold the day I arrived and took a few hours to heat up (there's a plug in radiator available). I assume this may be because the apartment hadn't been used for a few days and hence took a while to heat up. Having an extra heater for this instance might be handy, or to give the place a bit of advance heating if empty for a few days in winter.
