الشقة موجودة في مجمع سكني بعض شققه تتبع فندق، الشقة نظيفة وتم تزويدنا بالمناديل واكياس القمامة، المنظر رائع من البلكونة حيث تطل على البحيرة ومرتفعات خضراء، هناك مسبح كبير في الدور الأرضي بالإضافة إلى جاكوزي دافئ كجزء من المسبح، تم تزويدنا باغطية إضافية بمقابل مالي (40 رنجت للغطاء والفرش في الليلة) The apartment is located in a residential complex, with some units managed as part of a hotel (This apartment is not affiliated with the hotel). The apartment was clean and provided with tissues and garbage bags. The view from the balcony was wonderful, overlooking the lake and green hills. There is a large swimming pool on the ground floor, along with a warm jacuzzi as part of the pool. We were provided with extra bedding for an additional charge (40 MYR per set per night).

تواصل معي الشخص المسؤول عن الشقة قبل أكثر من عشرة أيام عبر الواتساب وطلب مني صور الجوازات، ولكن عندما تصل إلى المجمع يطلبون منك مرة أخرى الجوازات ويصورونها ظل الشخص المسؤول عن الشقة يذكرني ان هناك مبلغ إضافي علي دفعه مقابل ثلاثة فرش واغطية لأربعة ليالي وانا اخبره انني سأدفع المبلغ عندما اصل (كان ذلك مزعج) في احدى المرات طلبنا أكياس قمامة ومناديل (مجانية) وأخبرنا الشخص المسؤول عن الشقة انه غير موجود حاليا في المجمع وانه سيقوم بتزويدنا بها غدا مع ان الغد كان يوم تسجيل الخروج أي لا داعي لها يمكننا استخدام المسبح دون استخدام المناشف الخاصة بالمسبح لا يمكننا استخدام النادي الرياضي في المجمع (تم منع اخواتي من الدخول) The person responsible for the apartment contacted me more than 10 days in advance via WhatsApp and asked for passports copies, but upon arrival at the complex, passports were requested and copied again. He also kept reminding me about an additional payment for three sets of bedding for four nights, even though I had told him I would pay upon arrival — this was quite annoying. On one occasion, we requested extra garbage bags and tissues (which are supposed to be free), but the person in charge said he wasn’t at the complex and would provide them the next day — even though the next day was our check-out, making it pointless. We could use the swimming pool without pool towels, but we were not allowed to use the gym in the complex (my brothers were denied entry).

Nice view, spacious, clean, easy access and friendly host. So far the best stay in ipoh.

The unit itself was ok. It was large and spacious and the view from the room was amazing. The air conditioners worked well and the beds were quite comfortable (not the pillows). There was plenty of storage space and the unit was reasonably quiet especially at night. The host was quite responsive to questions when needed. There is a large fridge in the kitchen and cooking facilities but limited cookware.

Beware!!! This is a privately owned unit and not a hotel room. You are NOT considered a guest of the hotel and as such are not supposed to be using the hotel facilities including the gym and the pool unless you are accompanied by the unit owner. We were completely misled in this regard. We had booked to stay in the unit for 10 nights but unfortunately on day 8 the hotel staff told us we were prohibited from using the hotel facilities including the pool as we were homestay guests rather than hotel guests. This is completely deceptive advertising and totally misleading. There are signs around the hotel stating that homestays are prohibited which was the first indication that something was amiss but we were encouraged by the host to say we were guests of the owner. Red flag!! The hotel staff are constantly asking if you are hotel guest or homestay and as soon as you use the bar or the restaurant and you do not charge to your room, they know you are not a hotel guest. From that minute on, you are treated with complete indifference and in some instances disdain by the hotel staff which I found incredibly unprofessional and disheartening. Given we were made to feel so incredibly uncomfortable on day 8 and were forbidden from using the pool, we felt we had no other option than to leave the accommodation and search for alternative accommodation for the last two nights of our trip. To say this put a bad taste in our mouths is an understatement. Just to add salt to the wound, the host has refused to refund the last two nights saying we were allowed to use the facilities according to them, which is completely false. Although the grounds of the hotel are stunning and the pool is magnificent, I would encourage you to go into this with your eyes wide open!!! Also, in addition to the above, NO services are provided by the host while you stay. There is no rubbish collection, unless you request it, your sheets are not changed, clean towels are only provided if you ask.
