Entire Modern Apartment in Oban with Balcony

Clean and modern. In a small block of flats where it's clear the other residents care about their building so it's very pleasant. Lovely thick carpets. Some art maybe drawn by the owner(?). Comfy throughout and we felt very at ease. Parking right outside the gate. Near to town centre and McCaigs Tower.

One of us has mobility challenges and so the stairs were a little but of a struggle. Not the owners issue though - would just like to see this made clearer on description.

The apartment had everything we needed. We were able to wash our clothes and hang them on the drying rack provided. The bedrooms were well set up.

The stairs to get up to the apartment, hadn’t realised there were so many. Not a didn’t like but we think there could be an explanation and description on how to use the appliances and locking the front door. As we were out everyday until late I didn’t get time to speak to the owners that we couldn’t work out how to use the shower.

The property itself was very good and well maintained

Good communication, flat was very clean and tidy. Plenty of room for guests, including parking and ease of entry.

Lovely large clean comfortable apartment.TV with Netflix is an necessary added bonus.

The location is a bit out of town, bus service ends at 17.30 so no good at night. Found it very difficult to get taxis at night, and walked back one night as we couldn't get a taxi. We came back early other nights due to unreliable taxi services hence the value of having Netflix. The walk back was dark, hilly and had no footpath for 25% of the way.. if the host could provide the number of a reliable taxi service it would be a great help. Bring toiletries/washing powder, kitchen paper as none provided and a spare toilet roll might not go amiss as we ran out of the 2 rolls provided.

The furniture isn’t too old

Windows wouldn’t close properly. Location is very misleading and very far away from the city center. Do not recommend with kids. Stairwell is full of stuff (old washing machine, golf clubs, bicycle, Dog food etc). Didn’t feel very safe there.

Easy to access key; beautifully furnished and equipped flat; on-street free parking close by - cul de sac so no through traffic. Really close to all local amenities. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Everything was good.
