Entire Modern Apartment in Oban with Balcony

Lovely apartment in a nice quiet street, wish we could have stayed longer!

Fridge smelled strongly of bleach....at least it was clean I guess!

The property was very clean, modern and spacious. A couple of minor issues developed over the course of our stay and Abbie could not have been more helpful in resolving matters. For us, it was a nice 20 minute walk into town and back, but as the hill is steep it might not suit people with elderly or disabled people in their parties.

The apartment is advertised for up to 6 people. We were 5 in total. At less than 4 people the price would have been a bit too high to be value for money, but it was fair for 5. However, the sofa-bed for guests 5 and (if relevant) 6 proved uncomfortable, involving a bar across the torso. One of my party found it more comfortable to put the cushions on the floor.

The rooms were large, and the beds were comfortable. We were able to watch TV when too tired to go into town. The apartment was quiet.

We couldn't figure out how to use the stove top. It is digital. Also, the apartment is up several flights of stairs, which was difficult for elderly or mobile challenged people.

The location is up a hill, but we knew that and were happy to walk. Easy to get keys from key box and good communication with Abby

I did ask in advance for a cafetiere, they only costs 6 or 7 quid from tesco and this would be a real bonus to the flat for coffee lovers.

Great location in Oban, away from the busy town centre but close to all attractions.
