10 Summerhouse Mews

Location was excellent. The main bonus was the inclusive, allocated, secure parking space.

It was all fine. Maby include instruction on the sequence of getting the shower to work.

We didn't stay at 10 Summerhouse Mews but at a location 30 minute walk outside of York. The reason according to Staysyork was an issue with the toilet at Summerhouse Mews. We were notified of this just the day before and had to take their offer of staying at this other place which was much further away from central York.

The location being so much further from central York.

Great location

Not clean or comfortable enough - especially the couch and cushions in the living room. Too expensive for what we got.

Very convenient for exploring York. Great secure parking. Very well equipped & comfortable

The apartment is a ideal size for a couple with everything you need for your stay. It is in a ideal location, just a five minute walk along the river to shopping centre, York minster and places to eat. You will find plenty of things to do and many places of interest

The only complaints I have is the apartment directly above you can hear the occupants walking around 24hrs a day so I presume it isn’t soundproofed between floors and the bedroom window you cannot leave open as it doesn’t have a restriction bar on it so will be dangerous to cars as it is on a narrow road

The location of the property to York was excellent and gated car park

Over looked front and back, could have done with blinds on all windows as the only option was to close the curtains making it dark and too warm. Windows didn’t have very good locking mechanism on to leave open during the night especially over the last few days while it was close and humid. Neighbours upstairs were like fairy elephants! Interior a bit dated. This might sound a little harsh though these are real key points to this apartment/flat going to the next level.

This is a great apartment just outside of York city centre, in a pleasant, quiet area - just a short stroll in through the Museum Gardens. We had a great stay and felt very well accommodated. It was such an advantage to have the car parking space too. Would love to come back and stay in the same place.

Initial access to the carpark was a bit tricky, working out the procedure for the key pad, but we got there in the end. I would have liked to have a number we could have called out of hours in case anything went wrong, but we were OK. There was also a bit of confusion in the information that Stays York were providing in the run up to our trip, but this didn't detract from what was a lovely stay in a great apartment.
