Check in. No fob for the parking bay and a random car parked in the space allocated when we borrowed one from concierge. Lock on apartment door very dodgy to lock and unlock. No loo roll provided! For a holiday let would expect a few more basics to be supplied. Kitchen not clean, unwashed glasses in cupboard.

Great communication with company, superb location close to rail station and York centre. Apartment very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again

Heating was a bit of an issue

Great location. Excellent kitchen facilities. Nice lounge area. Good bathrooms. Secure parking.

Very poor ventilation throughout. Main bedroom backed onto a Royal Mail depot and close to the train station so noisy, especially as the window needed to be open for air. Bed only ok. 2nd bedroom small, dark and no window to open. Bed was appalling, very unconfortable and squeaky at every turn. This issue was mentioned in a review over a year ago and has not been addressed. With forecourt and road works you cannot currently legally park out the front to unload and reload. You cannot park around the back if you have not previously picked up the keys. Our arrival was a debacle plus the apt had not been cleaned. We were not able to settle in until 6pm! We were given a small refund for the inconvenience. Poor management by Stays York.

Location was great. 5 minute walk from the rail station. 15 minutes and you’re in the centre of York. There is a Sainsbury’s local in the train station, so stop there for a few essential supplies like Milk.

The beds weren’t that great and bedroom 2 the bed squeaked every time I moved. Having no window or air wasn’t ideal either for me. The Royal Mail Depot outside the main bedroom made for noisy early wake up calls. Water pressure wasn’t always good. To be really picky, to have a welcome pack of tea of and coffee and “fresh” milk would’ve been good instead of UHT enough for one drink.
