Gemütliches Studio in einer tollen, ruhigen Gegend mit Blick auf die wunderschönen, schneebedeckten Alpen. Der Gastgeber Frank ist sehr freundlich und antwortet schnell auf Nachrichten, was sich sehr positiv auf die Kommunikation auswirkt. Das Studio ist sauber und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, die man im Urlaub benötigt. Ein großer Vorteil ist die Möglichkeit, den schönen Garten mit viel Grün und Blumen zu nutzen. Der Garten ist mit einer bequemen Sitzgarnitur ausgestattet und verfügt über einen Grill. Die Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt neben dem Studio (die Busse hört man aber kaum, es ist sehr leise da). Mit der Panorama Card kann man bequem und kostenlos die Umgebung erkunden (einschließlich Thun, Spiez, Interlaken und andere nahegelegene Städte). Ein wirklich empfehlenswerter Ort – Frank, vielen Dank nochmals und beste Grüße!

Wonderful apartment with lovely garden and the most beautiful views of the mountains, valleys and lakes. Perfect stay.

The room was clean and the view was amazing. There is enough facilities that u can comfortably make a simple meal. Further more the owner is very friendly and will assist u with what he can . Fantastic would definitely stay again.

The view is classic + It is only 18 minutes drive from Thun. Frank is very approchable and in my case I needed an Iron board and an Iron to press my clothes. He had provided this to me immediately.

The view was amazing, and the outside area is perfect for a weekend away from the city, it has a barbeque and it is easily accessible by bus!

It lacked an oven or a proper microwave / oven combo, but it is a minor issue.

Everything was excellent, as was the weather! The garden, view, location, comfort and equipment were top.

Nothing

The location and view was phenomenal. I could gush on like a fan-boy about how wonderful our stay was. Everything was so perfect to celebrate our 25 year anniversary. We did the tourist thing, visiting Geneva, Bern, Jungfrau and, Interlaken, and we had quiet days sitting in the garden overlooking Thun. It is a beautiful area, that is very peaceful. We had parking for our rental car, and the included wifi was reliable so we could plan our day trips, and upload our daily photos to social media. The city of Thun was conveniently located and easy to navigate from the apartment, and there are several shops for picking up things to prepare for dinner at home. The apartment includes a modern bathroom, kitchenette that has both a microwave and a stove top for cooking, and a small refrigerator. Our host, Frank came by and gave us some valued information, as well as showing us how to use the coffee pod machine. (Very convenient and wonderful coffee to start the day). There are several comfortable chairs and tables to sit outside for a late evening drink, or to have breakfast and morning coffee. The neighbourhood gardens are well maintained as is the garden around the studio. We were fortunate to see lots of wild life including a family of hawks, that circled overhead daily. The few people we encountered were friendly and helpful.

The only significant point is that there are a lot of stairs leading from the road parking, down to the apartment. This is not a wheelchair accessible location. If you have difficulty navigating stairs, there is a lift that goes part way, but there is still about a dozen steps.
