Cherry Lodge with Hot Tub

there was no sheets or pillow cases for the person staying on the couch so they just used a cover with no sheet. wasn’t very covid secure or clean

The decoration and size of the lodge were fantastic. Had everything we needed and felt spacious. We had a great time and kids had tears leaving.

Had no water on arrival and no instructions of how to get it on. We looked everywhere and then hubby found stop tap and turned that ...never had to put water on myself anywhere and if we'd have known and had instructions this would have been fine. Could have done with more info on arrival. Wasted time. The hot tub was half empty too which meant it was unusable on first night.

Beautiful setting, very well presented lodges and the restaurant serves lovely food. All the staff were very helpful and polite nothing was to much trouble.

We had a lovely time, everyone enjoyed the hot tub and there was plenty of space in the lodge. The pizzas from the hut were enjoyable the first night. We had a filling breakfast at the restaurant which was efficient and friendly.

The beds were very uncomfortable, you could feel every spring digging in and so we didn't sleep well. I would hesitate to book again despite everything else being of a very high standard and the surroundings lovely.

Everything. We are regulars to the park and we are very impressed each time we come. The lodge was stunning and immaculate & the facilities are excellent and staff in JJs and reception very friendly and accommodating.

Cabin decor and furnishings were excellent,

Mattresses on beds are poor as u can feel the springs and isn't very comfortable. Constant smell of nicotine in the 2nd bedroom.

The lodge is in lovely picturesque peacful grounds, with lakes, fishing lake and golf course. The inside is furnished beautifully with good quality fixtures and fittings. The kitchen is well equipped, loved the range cooker. The inside of the lodge was spotless.

We did enjoy our stay so hope the comments will be taken as constructive not as a complaint, when we lifted the lid to get in the hot tub we found an ice cream lid had been left on the side and almost immediately dirty scuz marks started to appear. The next morning we reported the problem, told reception we would be out for a few hours and asked for the hot tub to be cleaned, also the outside coffee table needed cleaning. When we got back several hours later the coffee table had been cleaned, the ice cream lid had gone the hot tub smelled of chlorine but there was sand/grit on the seats. We were surprised because although there had been an attempt to clean it the park had had time to empty it and give it a proper clean. In addition to this we thought the uncomfy beds let the lodge down and no mattress protectors, the furniture in the lounge and kitchen are really good quality so it seems a shame to have a cheap mattress. Also no hairdryer and stain on one of the chairs in the living room. We were charged a £200 securirty deposit so expected perfect and with a few small tweeks could be.
