Cherry Lodge with Hot Tub

The actual lodge was beautiful. The decor was lovely and really suited us, and there was plenty of kitchen facilities. The mattress on the double bed was lovely to sleep on.

I feel that the description/photos of the lodge could show better how close you are to next door lodges. You are no more than three metres from the next guests. The place was freezing when we first arrived (-4 with snow outside). No one has been in to check the space or kick of the heating for our check in, and there was no directions for how to do this ourselves. We also had to drive up to the main Reception to collect the extra linen for the sofa bed that I specifically requested prior to our arrival. When we pulled out the sofa bed, the mattress was thin and pretty disgusting, and the mattresses in the twin room were extremely uncomfortable as the springs dug in. To warm up, we decided to try the hot tub - but got locked outside as the door had jammed. As there is no step/emergency access from the balcony, we were completely stuck. My brother and sister had to jump over the railings to run over to the next lodge (which, thankfully in this instance, wasn't too far) in their swimming costumes, in freezing temperatures, to get the emergency number for help. The maintenance then made my brother use his tools to try and open the door instead of jumping over himself, or going to get the spare key to unlock the front door. This key was in a locked office, which maintenance had no access to. When they eventually did have the key, they got in the lodge and had to prize open the door from the inside, while we sat out in the freezing cold - again, because there was no step access off the balcony and I am disabled so would not have been able to jump over even if I wanted to!. The whole ordeal took just under two hours - and throughout it all, other lodges kept connecting their phones to the in built speaker system under the hot tub. I'm sure you can appreciate that camera noises, blasting music, etc. was very scary and there was no way to turn it off.

Big lodge , lovely double bed … single beds very uncomfortable Great staff all around Perfect for our family of 5 Great restaurant onsite , lovely , hot, fresh food/drink and great service

Cleaning needed abit of TLC (floor corners Thick Cobwebs in ceiling corners / tv etc) but this is my personal opinions, clean bedding etc

The property was very spacious like a home away from home.

Lovely hot tub, spacious, wonderful kitchen area and breakfast bar.

Single bed mattresses could do with being upgraded, the double bed mattress was so comfortable an more of a memory foam feel but the 2 single bed mattresses was spring mattresses and not very comfortable for our little one, we ended up putting an extra duvet on top of the mattress so he couldn’t feel the springs as much.
