The lodge is amazing.The grounds of the lodge are gorgeous and the on site restaurant was lovely!

Found some random half eaten food in the lodge but was easily cleaned.

The interior design, the cleanliness, the location, the check in/check out process , the hot tub, the whole area!

It would have been a 10/10 however there were some plastic flowers petals left around the bedroom floor that had been missed by the cleaner (assuming it was for valentines) and we found an old crisp packet on the sofa that had been missed too. Other than that it was spotless!

I didn’t not like anything - just with is been December would be nice with some fairy lights to give it a little Christmas feeling.

"Beautiful setting but let down by broken hot tub and customer service."

Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A great size for 4 adults. Had everything we needed and more. Onsite restaurant is amazing.

Hot tub wasn't working properly. This fault was already known about by staff but they still let the property regardless. It took over 24 hours (and lots of chasing on our behalf) to be offered a different lodge. The couple we travelled with got so fed up with the situation that they left a day early. Emails to the company have not been responded to and no goodwill gesture was made for the inconvenience and lack of working facilities. We were offered a 20% refund if we stayed in the original lodge with the broken hot tub but as the hot tub was the only reason we booked there, this seemed pointless. Really disappointed with how it was handled and the lack urgency of staff. What was meant to be a relaxing break with friends, quickly turned into a stressful weekend that was pretty much ruined. Previous reviews on here this month also state it was broken.

"Beautiful accommodation"

The hot tub and nice spacious lodge with lots of crockery and glasses hot water for the bath plenty of storage space with drawers and wardrobes

It was disappointing as I could smell dogs and we always book a no pet accommodation due to allergies we booked the cherry lodge which is a no pet accommodation however the lavender allows pets not sure why we were put in this one beautiful accommodation but let down by the smell .... ok if you love dogs ......we didn't highlight this as we were only there for 2 nights No book explaining how to work things I.e. tumble dryer and dishwasher washer had to guess or anything on exploring the area however still enjoyed our stay 😀
