The Bishophill Gathering York - Sleeps Up To 12

The house was perfect for our group, large and clean...not too far from York center. The letting agents were lovely too, super helpful prior and during our stay.

Great location, clean linen and lots of space

Parking permit (one) wasn't available and parking nearby can be expensive but staff did resolve. Tea and coffee provided but unfortunately no milk, again staff were very apologetic

it was dirty, it smelled, the downstairs windows were broken and risk of intrusion, we chose not to use the showers due to the condition of them.

this property was perfectly located, we was able to do so many things and knew that the house was not to far away, was very clean and we all felt comfortable and safe there, there was an issue with not enough bedding but someone came to talk to us straight away and was very friendly. even our fur baby loved it!

The close proximity to the city centre and the spaciousness of the house. Great communication with agents. Previous guests had left taking the only parking permit but I had a phone call beforehand explaining this and told to pay for parking, get a receipt and they would reimburse which they did straight away.

It wasn’t that clean on arrival. Pots still in dishwasher, items from previous guests in fridge and when we opened gate at the bottom of the yard there was an enclosed area littered with empty cans and bottles. Beds were very uncomfortable but that was just personal choice.

Parking needed to be booked in advance which isn’t stated on booking.com however the hosts helped and were very accommodating
