"Great spot for a stay"

The location was great and don’t be fooled by the alley with the front door. The place was well appointed and very clean. They had tv access to streaming services. There are wonderful places to eat locally.

Like any city, it’s a bit noisy with windows over the street.

Easy to find. Close to everything. Good on-line instructions. Stylishly laid out. Clean throughout, and a comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. M&S opposite for food needs.

Location was noisy on a Friday and Saturday night. We were woken up a few times by revellers. There wasn’t a folder of information about the apartment or pamphlets etc. which would have been useful. No chopping board. Can’t think of anything else!

"Nice stay after initial hic up."

Location was brilliant. Well equipped. Lots of space in a lovely building. Responsive to problems.

Hadn't been serviced after last guests when we arrived at 7pm - initially struggled to get hold of anyone to report on any numbers provided (or anyone at booking.com either). Had to leave a message and wait.

Spacious, but still cosy, close to everything , clean and tidy lovely and homely

Bed has 2 mattress’s which when sliding into middle of bed was tad uncomfortable but the only slight issue.

The property is so full of character and beautiful. It’s in a great location and gives a cosy atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for somewhere close to everything or somewhere just to relax then this is the place for you. You can explore York with ease or literally Netflix and chill. We will definitely be back.

When we arrived it was a tad chilly outdoors, I completely understand saving energy but the property was a little cold when we arrived, it did warm up after a while but maybe putting the heating on a couple of hours before arrival would make it feel cosy. If you have mobility problems then this property isn’t suitable, quite a lot of stairs (we didn’t mind)

Really minor point but no dishwasher tablets provided and the candles didn’t work
