It was clean , well equipped and very comfortable

The parking is a bit complicated but I guess that goes with the location , the host was very helpful .

"Great City Break"

A really nice little apartment about a 10 minute walk into the centre of York close to the University and York Minster. The apartment has everything that you need, towels, kitchen bits and bobs, tea bags etc in a nicely equipped kitchen with everything that you need to cook. A really nice little place to stay. The heating did get very hot for us so do remember to turn it down (unlike us)! Two nice double beds and a lovely free standing bath also a shower cubicle. Games in a poof in the living room for the children and towels were provided for your stay. A really good city break stay. The parking was also on a little driveway at the property for smaller cars on on a permit road if your vehicle is bigger. The owner contacts you to find out. Would recommend a stay here.

The stairs to the upstairs room were extremely steep so if you struggle to walk or climb make sure that you take the downstairs room. They are more like a carpeted ladder 🪜. I felt like the apartment was nicely equipped but needed a bit better clean especially on the stairs.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped with all household items!

The bed was too soft (in my opinion!). The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep (as described), practically vertical.

Great location, 5 min walk to centre of York. Hosts were helpful and the bed was comfy. Tea and coffee were provided which was a nice touch. Thank you for having us.

The stairs were steep, especially to the second bedroom. This can't be helped by the hosts but would just be aware if your mobility isn't the best.
