Location was exceptional and quiet for York.

Bath was very slow to run

Superb service from agents, excellent communication, all relevant information about property sent well in advance, including key safe code so no waiting outside property waiting for a message like some others we've stayed in, lovely little cottage, comfortable with everything we needed, welcome pack, tea and coffee, uht milk and washing up/ laundry supplies. Didn't use the wood burner but firelighters, kindling and log all there. Excellent location, quiet mews just next to Monk gate Bar and not far from Minster. Very happy overall with our stay, will use same agents again.

Not much, it is a very small cottage so have to squeeze round bed to get to dressing table, the back yard is quite nice the rear wall is the city walls so people walking past looking down! Not a problem for me, I said hello to them, but could be if you want complete privacy, great if you want to walk round the City walls which is well worth doing.

A coffee table would have been useful and thicker bath towels would have been nice. Parking more expensive than suggested on Booking.com albeit nearby.

It was fantastic, no negatives

The lock box was easily accessible with the only issue being that it was somewhat difficult to see after dark. A motion sensor light (as there were several nearby) would be a great addition.

There was really nothing that we didn't like. It was just somewhat smaller that what we would have liked but there was nothing that we really didn't like.

Cosy and very convenient, Perfect for two guests. Made us feel a part of York 😀

As we were staying for 14 day’s we felt that the storage For clothes particularly the draws were dusty and not particularly clean. We also couldn’t seem to get the heating going properly. The small back yard definitely required a major clean. Also a small coffee table would be useful.
